Responsibilities

1. Prepare and deliver AP literature & composition lessons, lesson taught in English;
2. Prepare and deliver academic writing lessons, lesson taught in English;
3. Prepare and retain appropriate teaching plans;
4. Assesses students’ work and provides feedback;
5. Maximum teaching hours: maximum (25) per week;
6. Office hour: yes; Mon-Fri
7. Grade：9-12;
8. Student age: 15-17;
9. Class scale:（20）;
10. Textbook: Specified by the school ;
11. Must be willing to become involved with the life of the school.

Selection Criteria

1. Abide Chinese law and Law of the People's Republic of China on Teachers;
2. Have great passion for teaching;
3. Emphasis on personal and professional development;
4. Meet the qualifications for applying a legal work permit and visa;
5. Good at communicating with students, patient, guiding students to revise articles;
6. Native English speaker preferred;
7. Bachelor degree or equivalent;
8. Major in English literature;
9. 3-5 years teaching experience in senior high school or AP teaching experiences;
10. Give lessons focusing on subjects in general using an appropriate level of English language;
11. Possess a subject related certificate;
12. Other specific subject teaching certificate if applicable.

Compensation

1. Monthly salary starts at RMB23,000-25,000 (before tax) yuan depending on qualifications and experience;
2. School will provide a housing allowance, which is 3000 RMB per month;
3. Medical insurance while you are employed in school;
4. All statutory holidays as paid holidays plus 1-day paid for Christmas holiday;
5. Reimbursed residence permit, and obligatory medical check-up;
6. Regular teaching training supplied by school;
7. Ongoing team-building activities organized by school;
8. Not exceed RMB 5,000 airfare allowance paid by the completion of contract.
