Job Profile:
We seek an experienced and outstanding Chemistry teacher to join our Chemistry team. We offer a one-year pre-AP Chemistry program in Year 10, AP Chemistry and Advanced Chemistry program in Year 11 and Year 12. Experience of and expertise in teaching the AP programme and contest in Chemistry will be an advantage. You will be a highly effective, dynamic and collaboratively-minded teacher, able to inspire our incredible students with a genuine commitment to their academic and personal development and make a considerable contribution to our thriving department.

Requirements
1. Native speaker is a must.
2. Minimum of two years’ teaching experience at high school level.
3. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree related to Chemistry
4. Teaching Certification in the appropriate area or Master of Education (preferred)
5. Be able to teach high-school level Chemistry, AP Chemistry and Advanced Chemistry(including Biochemistry, Materials Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and so on)
Responsibilities
1. Chemistry teachers actively instruct students, create lesson plans, assign and correct homework, deliver experiment/investigations, design and marking quiz/test/exams.
2. Help students prepare for standardized exam, high school graduation exam, and Chemistry contest such as UKChO contest , CCC contest and ASOC contest.
3. Manage students in the classroom, create an environment of mutual respect and understanding, manages students’ behavior.
4. Attend regular chemistry group meeting, foreign faculty meeting.
5. Communicate with parents via online communication and attend parent meeting.
6. Contribute to daytime self-study supervision, extra-curricular activities, and school events.
