In 2016, our school began to introduce the IB PYP and MYP to integrate its exploring concept into our national curriculum system. Our school recognizes IB's mission statement and we are engaging in cultivating students with international vision. Duties & Expectations:

1. Treat students with respect whilst maintaining discipline and enforcing the school rules and instructions of the student affairs team.

2. Maintain high expectations / standards for the students and her / himself. Provide incentives, recognition and rewards to promote excellence.

3. Come to the class organized and well-prepared, with detailed exercises and material that reflect a teaching strategy from the lesson plan.

4. Use strong classroom management skills. Set clear standards for classroom behaviour and apply them fairly and consistently.

5. Design and maintain an artistically pleasing, clean, organised classroom and hallway area (possibly along with another peer).

6. Make sure that the students are active and engaged in the classroom.

7. Teach and arrive for class in a time efficient manner.

8. Maintain a positive, energetic atmosphere in class.

9. Routinely provide students feedback, review, reteach/tutor, and integrate previously taught material.

10. Promote respect and empathy amongst the students.

11. Vary pedagogic methods through your own and the academic office guidance and research. 12. Grow as a teacher and be willing conduct calculated experiments to find ways to improve the potential learming of your students.

13. Be honest about personal shortcomings, seek out help of fellow teachers and supervisors when meeting problems or difficulties; help/advise other teachers who seek assistance.

14. Help students who need individual attention.

15. Participate in electives and school events as required.

16. Be a willing participant for a minimum of two marketing/school events per semester outside of regular working hours
