Outreach & Communications Coordinator at an international hospital in Beijing. This hospital offers inpatient and emergency care in a variety of languages including English and Chinese. You will use your communication, sales, and event planning skills along with your branding acumen to find and attract new clients.

The employer is a full service private hospital in Beijing in operation since 2012. It offers a full range of medical services that meet international standards including treatment, imaging, and laboratory work.

 

The position: Outreach & Communications Coordinator

Corporate Membership Program

Contact potential new members to introduce the brand and seek cross-collaboration opportunities

Supervise processing of new memberships, maintain membership database

Coordinate with Client Relations Manager and Marketing Manager to supervise team members assigned to secondary market sales and membership activities (French, Japanese communities)

Create strategic alliances with important market partners

Carry out hospital tours

Assist in resolution of client complaints

   

Events

Mediate between clients and event staff to meet client’s requests

Prepare and follow annual events calendar

Initiate and coordinate new event and marketing opportunities

Coordinate with general marketing team to advertise upcoming sales events

Develop and participate in sponsorship opportunities in the expatriate community

Attend marketing events, including those outside of regular work hours

Coordinate event schedules, equipment procurement, personnel, delegate duties, supervise event team

Compile event summaries

 

Branding

Develop marketing and event materials in coordination with Graphic Designer and Marketing Manager

Communicate new branding/service opportunities to Marketing Manager
Act as brand ambassador at all events

Ensure the brand is always exhibited in a professional and aesthetically pleasing manner

 

Finance

Adhere to the marketing budget

Develop budget with Marketing Manager

Document costs and spending for all sales activities

Source cost-effective marketing materials and services

 

Administrative

Produce research and summaries of competitors

Create presentations for sales meetings, events, promotion

Collaborate across all departments to strengthen services and brand on the whole

Relay client feedback to other departments and supervisors

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher

3 years or more sales experience as Key Account Manager

Ability to plan and execute corporate marketing strategies

Strong sales and interpersonal skills

Excellent event planning skills

Understanding of international standard healthcare and terminology

Knowledge of logistics and ordering protocol

Proficient in market research

Positive sales attitude, team player, able to work independently

Flexible schedule

Native or equivalent English speaker

Chinese language skills a plus

 

Salary and benefits

20-25,000 RMB/month
